Your question is an interesting one due to its lack of specificity. For example, is a "sex book" a non-fictional work about the act itself with information about the how to's, such as the previously aforementioned "Kama Sutra" and "Everything You Wanted To Know About Sex*?" Or is it a fictional piece of erotica with lots of graphic sex scenes creatively and descriptively conveyed in a sensually readable way?

In case of the former, I'd have to say I don't know. I've always been my own best guide. In case of the latter, anything by Nicolson Baker is pretty great, most notably "The Fermatta."
