to walk by a dog on a chain, jeer at it, and watch as it runs towards you in angry anticipation only to get it's neck snapped back by the tension of the chain?

No! Not only is it cruel but if you do that enough times, a dog may end up being strong enough to snap the chain.

no. i don't abuse animals in that matter. you, my....not-friend are very cruel and could get arrested.
