Brownback is the easy choice of course but I'm wonder about the ones that actually have a snowball's chance...

I would have to be Huckabee. He is an ordained minister. Contrary to what you think the religious right does not support Brownback.

They do not support Romney, Giuliani or McCain. I guess of the most popular candidates they support Fred Thompson.

Yes, it is Brownback. He is the darling of the religious right, but he doesn't have much of a chance of winning. It is certainly not Giuliani or McCain, and a lot of Christians don't consider Romney and Mormons real Christians. I have heard criticism of Fred Thompson as not being "Christian enough."

I believe that the religious right would approve of Duncan Hunter, and Tom Tancredo, and they would vote for any of the Repubs who won the nomination in the general election except for Giuliani.

None of them with a snowball's chance neatly fits into the "religious right" mold. I guess Fred Thompson might appeal to them, but he was pro-choice at one point.
