What were the major debates during the Constitutional Convention?

They mostly had to do with the powers of the national government vs the powers of the local (state) governments. Secondarily debates over the power of the executive.

The power of the Federal government versus the rights of the states and individuals. Slavery was not an issue contrary to popular belief now days since a majority of the framers of the constitution were slave holders. The one issue concerning slaves were how to count them. It was finally decided on male slaves being counted as (if I remember right) 3/4 of a man.
Note I said male not female because in that period of time women were not counted.
