I am working at a contract position which will be ending soon. I am looking for a permanent job.

I don't know if I should focus on looking for a permanent job or setttling things with my ex-husband.

He has custody of our 15 year old daughter and they are both moving to a different state because of his job change. He has been there since Feb and has now sold the house.

I live in another state. I am willing to have my daughter come stay with me.

However, my ex-husband has not been able to move on and feels that we should get back together for both of our sakes and our daughter.

Should I be talking to him to negotiate things or focus on settling my own life?

Right now focus on your new position till you get established It might take a couple of years. Get yourself financialy stable then get a good lawyer . Your ex is never going to move on I telling you its not worth it .

first off think back to why he is an ex. if you didn't love him then it seems you wouldn't have such a dilemma
