The evil monkey has near-zero credibility with me due to the immigration bill's being the last straw, but the they-knew-in-advance is still not credible, except for them thinking something to do with airliners was likely to occur around that date, which I do believe.

The only thing that we can learn from 9/11 was that how unprepared we were. The 9/11 hijackers were even pulled aside by airport security before they boarded. Our heads were in the clouds, but that doesnt mean that we planned it.
James Woods, the actor, witnessed a few of the hijackers doing a dry run on a flight to LA (look it up on snopes). He reported it to the FBI and got ignored. I dont think it was an inside job, it just shows our ignorance and lack of care, we hard our guard down.
Plus, there is so much intelligence and counter intelligence out there it is hard to say who is going to attack when. Not an easy job, people think the terrorists were sending us blatant signs and they were not. Were our laws and protocol in need of mending so we could better monitor these guys? Yes.
But to say that Bush let it happen is the same as the people who say the same of FDR for Pearl Harbor. Doesnt hold water, if they knew about it, just foiling an attempt would be enough to rile up the country and raise awareness, not having to kill off 3000+ of your own countrymen.
Plus, with Bush's track record, you think he was actually smart enough to know about this or even be an insider? Obviously not. Move on with your life.

Lets answer some of your questions:
Did the government know about a plot? I would have to say yes. They knew that we were at risk, but didn't know enough about the specifics to stop the attack. The when, where, and how questions could not be answered.
Did the government let it happen? I would go with no. Our intelligence and law enforcement community, as a result of some of our basic freedoms, cannot protect us from everything and everyone that wants to hurt us. I don't think that there is anything our government could have done to prevent 9/11.
Did the government plan 9/11 (9/11 is an inside job)? There is not enough evidence to show that this was the case. I would find this scenario highly unlikely.

Bush has no credibility with anyone who actually thinks with an open mind. I am from Midland, Tx(his hometown) and think the way he thinks gives all West Texans a bad wrap. Not everyone here thinks that he is a the shizznite! And I do think he knew about 9/11 and saw a way to make profits for him and his buddies at the cost of American lives. Support the troops and bit-ch slap the president!

No, actually it lowers the credebility of that theory. To say that this government could pull off a conspiracy is to say that a retarded child can build a space station. This point is further solidified with further loss of credibility due to an inability of the executive to accomplish any goals.

What is truly scary is the number of people that will answer yes to an inside job on 9/11. I guess those planes hijacked by terrorists that flew into the buildings were blaock -ops employeees of the CIA all willing to die for Bush's evil plot? Geta grip people.

Based off of that anti-Bush picture next to that Anti-Bush name of yours. The credibility of your questions is automatically below zero and therefore not worth answering with a credible answer.

The American citizens are never gonna beleive the truth if it bit'm on the butt ! Look how long it took people to understand that the Sun didn't go around the Earth! We have a big job ahead of us to bring Americans up to speed ! Even if Bush confesses all of his crimes to the world, there will be die-hard jerks that will never believe the truth !

'Tis better to keep one's mouth shut & to be thought a fool than to open it & remove all doubt! Besides, it is a mathematical impossibility for one's credibility to drop below zero. On 9-11-2001 I watched in horror, live on TV as the second airliner strike the 2nd tower, you twit!

So far no one, including popular mechanics, has satisfactorily explained to me what it was that hit the pentagon. One thing we do know is that it was not a Boeing 757. Until someone can put that to rest for me I'm ready to believe anything.
Edit- One thing that ought to scare the hell out of you. Google PNAC and "new pearl harbor". You'll see what I mean.
