Arrival Records released 2 albums in 1984 called Soaring 1 and Soaring 2. These are compilation albums featuring Christian artists. I'm wondering if they were ever released on CD, because I do have the vinyl. EBay didn't yield anything and Yahoo search didn't come up with anything for Arrival Records. Any other ideas? Thanks! :)

I'm a morning on-air host and program director at a Christian radio station; The albums you are looking for are not available on CD and Arrival Records has long-since gone out of business. My brother once had these albums on cassette (very 80's). You might find the individual songs by the various artists on CD as many popular artists' earlier works have been re-mastered and released on CD in recent years. Good luck in your search.

By the way, Kansas was never a Christian band, one its members became saved after the group broke up and has had a couple of Christian releases. U2 is not a Christian band either, but Bono professes to be born-again and others in the band like their bass player have suggested being saved. Their music is often laces with Christian messages, mostly very cryptic (Streets With No Names, etc.). Stryper, although legitimately a Christian band, scandalized themselves and broke up in disgrace. I don't know if any of the members are working in Christian music anymore.

I'd pick B. Jazz elements in Hip-Hop was more common in the 1990s, and the 2000s Jazz Hip-Hop would be more overlooked.
