Why Nascar, AMERICAN football, instead of F-1, or FOOTBALL?

F1 is usually decided on the first lap, the rest is boring. NASCAR gets decided on the last lap and the drivers actually show a little personality.
American football is a brutal sport with 100 times the strategy of European football. There are many more skills demonstrated in American football and the scoring is more interesting. American sports also show up better on the telly. F1 looks like they are using a zoom lens from outer space and soccer could use the special effects that American football shows.
