I need to figure in the cost of saving the money vs. the savings on the purchase.

At 300 each for 500, you will spend 150,000. At 265 each for 1000, you will save 17,500 on 500. The 1000 is a better deal, if you use them a lot. In the long run you will be saving 35,000 on a 20 month supply. I think your best bet would be to save and go with the 1000 qty. But, if you are unsure if you will need them for that long of a period, go with the 500qty, to not waste money. Tricky, but saving is always better in my book!

500=10months supply. Much better turnover. Important and recommended.
1,000=20 months supply. Only if you increase usage.

If you use them all, then you should buy in bulk, then 1K at $265 is a better deal.
