ZnCl2 +2KNO3 ---> Zn(NO3)2 + 2KCl

Does that say OAc? You might want to fix that. :)

These are simple exchange reactions

The anion of the first couples with the cation of the second and vice versa; observer charge neutrality and it is done.

This is simple; if you are having a problem with this you need to review the chapter. If you still have a problem after serious effort at learning the material, I suggest you not bother with any career in the sciences, medicine and dentistry, engineering, or any other technical field.

The one guy is right. OAc is an acid. it is just shortened for something, but I can't remember which acid it is. Carboxylic maybe? I haven't taken organic chemistry or analytical in a year.
