I love them when the day gets very HOT. It cools the temperatures off very quickly and makes sleeping comfortable with the window opened! :D

Thunderstorms don't bother me except for the lightning. It is just too dangerous. Sometimes it comes from a further distance than most people believe. If you are near a thunderstorm you could still be struck by lightning. However, I really like a good thunderstorm at night.
One thing I don't care about large cells of thunderstorms are the chances of tornadoes. Don't like 'em.

Thunderstorms are just awesome !!!! I love it as you said especially after a heat wave , its like a relief and washes the air and the streets . It can be a spectacular lighting show as well . I like it when you can see from a tall building or an air plane as long the plane is far away from it . We had storm just recently and indeed I slept with my window open and the air was clean and refreshing afterwards .

ive lived in houston for a while now where it is burning hot so i really like the rain/thunderstorms, like i when i was younger well actually from ages 4-7 i lived in russia where it would always rain or snow ...before that i lived in houston tx, and we ended up moving back here and this is where i am. its really rare for houston to have a thunderstorm or precipitaion so when it does it gets my mood up. i will especially like to sit in my bed in my room(it has a walls worth of windows) and read, i love the sound. thunder is kinda comforting but like i hate being in the car or plane...i love sitting outside too, but i know its not very safe...like idk it makes me calm and everything. like the other day i was locked out of a friends house with her and her 2 sisters, one age 15 and the other age 9 and it was thundering and they were all freaking but idk i really like the weather when its stormy , call me weird but its like comforting, and its really exciting when the power goes out ! once when i was like9 it went out and it was me my brother my cousin and my mom and we were using candles and singing songs and lol i probably sound really lame
