It's okay...you are one of the more level-headed people on here, but all of us get carried away...I know I do sometimes, but the fact is that there are good and bad people on both sides of the aisle...Until our leaders can get past their childish feelings towards one another and quit questioning each other's patriotism, we are going to be caught in the endless cycle of he-said, she-said, which is starting to get really old....the fact that we treat each other this way on here is one thing, but the fact that our elected officials do it is truly sad.

You should not feel offended if someone has properly understood and processed your thoughts on a subject and replies with why they disagree with you or think that your thoughts are racist, cold-hearted or a list of things a mile long.
If someone just disregards your ideas and labels you, then yes, you should be annoyed, and anyone else would be.
Either someone is ignoring you or you cannot admit that your views are jaded and negative.

I would offer two things. One don't take this site so seriously. Most people are just being annoying to be annoying and really have nothing to offer. Two don't buy into the garbage about liberalism destroying america or conservatives destroying america. Hate is what truly would destroy america which is exactly what lines like that breed.
You have shown yourself to be a big person for apologizing for something you felt you needed to apologize for.

Well, Liberals are accused every day of being Communist, Socialist, child molesters, moonbats (what ever that is), tin foil hat wearers, kool aid drinkers, unpatriotic, scum, stupid, morons, the list could go on and on. I really don't know why you felt you had to join the ranks of Conservatives on here who are insulting to Liberals. In any case, I wish we could all remember that just because there is a difference of opinion, it does not mean we are enemy's. To answer your question, I feel the same as I ever did.

I hear you.
Hard not to let insults fly when politics is such a heated subject.
I hate being grouped with every negative stereotype of liberals, I certainly do not fit the description.
I try to let it roll off my back, but if my honor is impugned in any way with a personal attack... then there is hell to pay.

sure, if someone insults you then that is a good reason to be offended.
no need to apologize to people who insult you, unless they are also sorry.
The lefties and the righties on this site are almost exactly the same - they both call each other names to put down the other side and build themselves up at the same time.
nothing comes of it, but anger and more name calling.

Their childish name calling is thrown out just to make you mad. You have more going for you than ANY of them. I've been called a racist and I employ blacks in my business and I've been call...well...a lot worse than cold hearted but that I take pride in. You can't have heart when you battle the enemy. If you do you will get killed.
Don't worry about the Neo-Libs, they are always crying over spilled milk. Even though they try to make it sound bad, think of it as though your are doing a good job if it pisses them off that much.

What is the matter with YOU? NEVER apoligize for your beliefs - because we still have a US Constitution and that everybody has a right to their opinion. I don't have to believe you, but then again, by the same token, you have to listen to me spew - if I want to!!!! That, my dear, is freedom.
