Ive been waiting what it seem like for ever to find out what im having.. im 5 1/2 months pregnant and just had my appointment rescheduled... ahhh!! i wanna know what im going to have... have any methods on find out like old wives tales? =]

I tried this and it was true. We help a magnent over my tummy and if it sways back and forth its a male and does circles its a female. My mom owns a pet store, and thats how they test if the birds are males or females. Sounds nuts but we have done this on a few pregos and it has worked on about 95 percent. Kinda cool!

The two that I heard most when pregnant were if the fetal heartrate is high it's a girl and if you have bad heartburn your baby will have lots of hair. Not true on both counts...my son's heartrate was always between 150 and 170 and I stayed up sick many nights with heartburn and he's bald as can be.

I've heared lots of morning sickness=girl and little to none morning sickness=boy. True for mine. Also heared that if you have a lot of heartburn in the later months the baby is supposed to come out with a head full of hair. Oh when you do go in for your ultrasound drink something cold before hand, that way s/he might move about more and they can get a better "view" for you. I didn't and they almost were unable to tell me the sex, they kept having to poke and jiggle my belly before he decided to lift his leg up and give us what we wanted =), stubborn little boy. i thought i believedin em too... all the old wives tales said im havin a girl...... I`m having a boy.... they were wrong... it`s a 50/50 chance, so basically their either wrong or right... if it says ur havin a girl and u end p havin a girl... its like "wow the wives tales were right.." lol... but really... if u werent havin a girl.... the only other option is a boy...

I like the answer from ilovemykids. The only thing is you're supposed to use your wedding ring not a magnet. My Uncle did this on my aunt with her wedding rings & got both sexes of my cousins right.

carry high its a girl carry low its a boy? but if ur that anxious theres' usually places to go and just pay outright for an ultrasound. just call and ask ur doc. its not planned parenthood, it would be where ever u get the 3-D ultrasounds done. GL

When I was pregnant, my grandmother tied a gold wedding band to a string and made me lie in the floor. She stood over me and held the ring on the string above my belly. if it swings side to side it's (supposedly) a boy; if it turns in circles, it's a girl. She got mine right. See if it works for you!

take your wedding ring (if your married) tie it to a string and place it over your baby, pull it taught then just holding the string let go of the ring and whichever way the ring spins first will be the sex of your child. clockwise= boy, counterclockwise=girl.

la tabla china de la concepcion when you find it look for the month where you conceive at the age you were when you conceived and it tells you what you are having. It told me for my last pregnancy and it was right.
