I made a cash deposit Saturday afternoon in an ATM machine but it has yet so show on my account and doesnt even say pending
whats up with this?

is your account with bank of America? if not it may take up to 5 days before it is in your account. if your account is with them take your ATM receipt the the branch you made the deposit at and ask them for assistance

where was the ATM located? was it in a branch? was it in a parking lot? was it in a grocery store? The answer to each of the those questions may give a different reason as to why it doesn't show up. Banks do not typically service their own ATM's, meaning that an outside party collects the deposits and brings them to a processing center. The ATM might not even be collected each day. It could just be once a week, but it will say that on the ATM. I don't know about B of A though, but some banks' ATM's provide immediate credit. The bank that I work at does.

ATM deposits are not immediate, as are ATM withdrawals. When the ATM machine is 'collected" (frequency of that varies), your deposit will be forwarded to the bank for recording. It can take up to a week for the process to complete itself.

When we had a bank of america account we used the deposit slip several times. The catch was that it usually took 3 days before it showed up in the online banking system. We never had it say that it didn't accept the money though, but they should definitely be able to fix this. There are cameras and the money in the envelope should be right there.
