Hi, i have found what appears to be a decent driving company called LDC, well their website looked impressive, but thats what its designed to do! So has anyone here taken lessons with them? If yes what did you think?

AND

Has anyone taken driving lessons in a Mini? Is it any good as a learners car? As it has a 1.6 engine, which i know is nothing to most of you, but im a learner, so would that be too much? Should i aim for a corsa which has like a 1.2 or something? Any one had any experience learning to drive with a mini? What did you think?

hi

my sister learned to drive in a mini and loved it. learning to drive might as well be fun and i cant think of a more fun car than a mini to learn in. its a cool size too. dont worry about engine size, you'll get used to it.

good luck let us know how you get on

No I don't know the company. I think you should have a trial lesson with the school you choose and then you can see how you enjoy the lesson as well as the car. If you don't like either then try another school. Its your money and learning to drive should be a pleasure not a chore.

Not heard of LDC - im in glasgow right enough. But minis are great wee cars to learn in, i passed my test 2wks after switching to mini from a corsa! :D The classics are nicer but new ones are fab for learning!! x x

I'm assuming this L.D.C. is the 'Learner Driving Centre'.

I trained to be an instructor with them - it almost put me off driving...
