You have to be careful with paper or artwork you use with decoupage. Many have a tendency to run their dyes when they are wet. A solution to this is to get laser (not deskjet) copies made. They usually don't have this problem.

Almost any paper can be used, if it is thin enough. Have you looked for paper napkins printed with your themes?
