Google the words "skip trace." There are many services so it would be easier for you to choose one than for me to recommend one. They all charge a bit of money, not much, under $25.00 to get information on a particular name. Unless he's a total indigent, he'll have to have some kind of driver's license record and other paper trail records of his activities. Once you find an address for him, you will need to pay a process server to track him down and serve him with divorce papers. Good luck.

File away. Your only obligation is ti post your intention in the classified column of the town you where think he is located. No judge would fail to give you a divorce from someone that has been gone that long, nor would he have much ground to contest you for the same reason. If he does not respond, you will win by default. Get going, as there are financial things that he could do that you may be held accountable for as his legal wife.

You don't need to find your husband to get a divorce. File the papers with "last known address." That will be suffiecient. IF you are after child support, file that at the same time, turn over the filings to Family Services...they will track him down by his SS number if he is working. A flag will be placed on his SS number, any time he has a job, it will show up.

You dont need him for a divorce. My law if you have not been together for 3 yrs+ you can get a uncontested divorce. When you file for divorce give them the last address you both lived at.

you do not need to find him. Go to your city hall and file for divorce. I believe that after a year if there is no response the court will grant your divorce. Find out by contacting your city hall. Every state has different laws.

First seek the counsel of an attorney. This person will probably recommend the services of a private investigator to determine the whereabouts of your errant husband. Then official divorce proceedings should be underway. Good luck!

Talk to a lawyer. U might be able to place a notice in the paper that announces your intentions and if he does not respond the courts can go along with out him.

Talk to a divorce attorney. There are ways to divorce based upon abandonment. You can still get one w/o finding him.

you can still get the divorce with out finding him. Actually I think they put the information in the paper they give him so long to respond and if he doesn't respond then you can go through with it.

I'd check with the courts or law enforcement. They can use Social security #, if he's working. (I know this is the case for child support.)
I know that people post things in the paper~ for heirs & such. You could do that in the town where he lives.
Just some ideas.
