Do you think that Roy Pearson is a racist? I do, and I'm black.
I feel that Roy Pearson is a black racist who used his professional position to terrorize the Asian owners of that dry cleaners. Today, I was so happy when I read in the news that not only did Roy Pearson lose the court case, but was ordered to pay the Chong's legal fees. I think Roy Pearson should pay the Chong's legal fees after all the stress he has put them through. What do you think? Do you think Roy Pearson did this out of racism? Tell me.

Not only is he a racist, he is a lunatic who has no place on the bench. He lost his case, has to pay all court costs, and hopefully, will not be on the bench much longer. Judges must be above reproach..he has proven he is anything but this, and he has shown serious signs of loss of sanity.

Administrative law judge Roy Pearson should be removed from his position. A judge needs to have a somewhat reasonable and fair opinion. This douche has definitely shown he isn't not the kind of person who should hold any official office that requires a high degree of professionalism. He may be a racist, opportunitst or whatever else he could be, regardless his actions are disgraceful to the legal system and society. I hope the dry cleaning owner sues for legal costs and for the grief caused by this punk.

When I read about this on the news, I was horrified! A JUDGE bringing such a frivolous lawsuit TWICE, trying to make these people personally liable for a lifetime of "irritation" endured from others? Nu-uh! I fear this guy has lost at least half of those eggs in his basket, and the rest are seriously cracked. He needs to find another line of work.
Maybe the Chongs should sue him for harassment and emotional distress?

I think he is both a racist and an opportunist. He's purposely picking on the Asians and he is greedy. He's not the only person that I'd heard about. Another coworker of mine, also Black, has been picking on the old lady downstairs at the dry cleaners where I work.

yes and a totally misuse of power, same as we always here about slavery; the north fought against it but we never get credit for it and I have alot of ancestors died in that war to free slaves and there is racist every where,( even in 12 step recovery meetings) but that is what America is suppose to be that anyone regardless of age,sex, creed or nationality should be treated as equals and be able to walk done any street any time of day or night and not be hassled..
that Judge should be disbarred too.

Who knows, but he's an idiot. I'm glad he lost the lawsuit, he doesn't even deserve a penny. If I was there owners of that dry cleaning store, I would sue him for all the stress he has caused.

More likely it was opportunism. People here sue for the most ridiculous of things just to try to make a fast buck.

no, he is an idiot. he just wants the publicity, and he knows that by suing for so much, when he settles he will still get much much more than the pants are worth. Like I said, he is an idiot.

probably so, or maybe it's more of a power trip. he just wanted to throw his weight around and they were in the way. to bad this happens to often with people in his position..........
