The Sox will probably trade him and then try to resign him after the season as a free agent.

First of all, Choro-Sama, Ozzie won't be the one trading Buehrle, Kenny Williams will be, so if you want to accuse anyone of being dumb, accuse him.
Secondly, as I White Sox fan, I would like to see Buerhle resigned, but Jerry Reinsdorf has a "I-won't-sign-pitchers-to-long-term-deals" attitude, and I'm afraid he won't budge. I think an exception should be made in this case for a guy that is an innings eater, has never had a serious injury, and who is a fan favorite.
When he trades Buerhle, Kenny better get some mad prospects from whichever team he does business with. It's pretty sad what has happened to this team since July of 2006.

It was talked about yesterday on ESPN sunday night baseball as a sure thing by the broadcasters. With Buerhle being a standout pitcher his worth to other teams would be great and the sox could probably get some much needed help at several positions for their ailing team. Their season is over so why not start building for next year?

I think Buehrle will be traded and he will be the first of maybe 3 others to go, namely P Jon Garland, OF Jermaine Dye and DH Jim Thome as the Sox look to re-stock but not rebuild...they have a good core of players and some good prospects in the system but it hasn't come together this year at all and it's time for a few changes and these 4 are the most asked about, especially Buehrle as he is a free agent after this season...I look for him to either go to the Brewers or the Cardinals (his hometown team). Thome would be a good fit for Oakland or Minnesota, as it would for Dye and I could see Garland heading to the NL maybe the Mets, Diamondbacks or Dodgers. We shall see.

Are the White Sox trying to lose? (Not that I don't mind) but come one!
Trading the person who actually won games for them, the person who got a no hitter?
Wow, Kenny, you are the DUMBEST guy of all time.
