There is a way if it's all from your computer but not if you've gotten it in several different places like off of friends computers and stuff. For that you need a special program since it's illegal.. haha. If you go to the apple website or even on your iTunes menu on your computer, somewhere there is a help tab and it will show you how to backup your music onto a new computer. I'm thinking that its the same process you will need to just save the music to put onto a new iPod. Just follow the steps and you should be able to do it. Good luck.

You can use your iPod to transfer your music to another computer. Try this! It's free and you don't have to download any weird programs:
-open iTunes on your computer, then open iTunes preferences and leave running (this will temporarily prevent your computer from trying to sync with the iPod and erasing your songs)
-connect your iPod and wait about 15 seconds
-Go to My Computer, go to tools, click on 'folder options', then the 'view' tab, then 'show hidden files.'
-open the iPod icon in My Computer
-open ipod_control
-drag the 'music' folder to somewhere on your hard drive (for example, right-click the folder and 'send to' your documents. This will copy the file to your hard drive; it may take a while if you have videos or a lot of songs.)
-right click this new music folder and select 'properties'
-clear checkmark next to 'hidden' then close this window
-eject iPod from your System Tray using the 'Safely Remove Hardware' icon at the bottom right corner of your screen
-cancel the iTunes preferences window
-go to File menu, click 'add folder to library,' add 'music' folder
After you transfer your songs over, you will have to authorize the computer to play your music. Go to 'Store' on the top toolbar and click on 'Authorize Computer.'

Below is a link to software I used. It's called MusicRescue. It's only a trial version, but it will still let you upload all of your songs from your iPod to the computer. The only problem is, that every 100 songs or so, it nags at you to buy the software. All you have to do it click no, but you have to sit there and watch your music. It's kind of a pain, but it's probably the best you're going to get for free.

Most people will tell you it's not possible. There's a program called CopyTrans that lets you copy music from your ipod onto a folder in your computer. There's a trial version and a full version. The full version is only 19.90, so i suggest you get that b/c the trial only lets you copy a certain amount of songs. Below is a link to their site. I got it and now i share my music with friends.

There is free software on the internet that allows you to reverse the process. It takes the music on your iPod and puts it back onto your computer. I don't know what the name of it is, though, so you'll have to do a search.

What operating system are you using? You'll need to use a program other than iTunes to help you.
This one can be used on all platforms:

After you install songbird, tell it to get the iPod support plugin. You'll be able to move songs to and from your iPod.

the music on your iPod should have come from your iTunes music library. If you didn't put it on the iPod with iTunes, then how did you do it?
