I've got my eye on a mid '70s Nova for my birthday. Any other muscle car fans out there?

OH SHUT UP!! I LOVE Novas....of course in Spanish you know that No va means "it doesn't go!" I had a 75 Nova and a 79 in high school and I HATED them then. They weren't cool yet. My boyfriend wants a "72.

My dream car, a 1970 Challenger R/T with either a 440 Six-Pak, or a 426 Hemi. But I might drop a 526 Hemi in it oneday. Paint, gloss black. Black rims, blacked out windows. Long tube headers going into glasspacks for the classic muscle car rumble. 4 speed bump shift, ooh I could go on and on. I'd also quite like a 1970 Plymouth Superbird. A car that was outlawed from Nascar for being too fast? Yes please.

I'd go back to the 1950's for the earliest Ford Thunderbirds with the removable fiberglass top and room for a driver and two passengers.
I don't know if they actually qualify as muscle cars, but they are classics in every sense of the word. Ford built them from 1955 until 1957 (I think) and then replaced the line with a larger car with a back seat.

I LOVE the new mustangs, they are just like the ones first made in the 60's and they kick some serious a**, plus, they have been rated as the safest sports car/muscle car......wish I could get one but, alas, my bills are calling!!!!
