My CPU will be : AMD ATHLON 64 X2 3800+ 4.0 GHZ 1MB CACHE AM2 DUAL CORE and i need a reasonable price motherboard which will support this Athlon 64 X2 socket 939 CPU. I've got all my RAM,case,HDD,Graphics card etc but need a decent but good value mobo.

I like the look of :ECS KV2 Lite Socket 939 AGP LAN ATX Motherboard , for price although after looking at some feedback some customers criticise it saying alot of the time they dont work and they'd go with Abit of Asus in the future.

Any help would be appreciated. And also any decent good value site would be great also. (UK)

Well then we have a problem. In the name of that processor right between cache and dual core, it says AM2, which is the socket it uses, socket AM2 not socket 939. So you need to either pick a different processor or get an AM2 motherboard, which would require DDR2 RAM.

Just some advice for the next time you build your computer, you should start with your mobo and processor and build up from their. It allows you to optimize all your parts instead of settling for something that's just compatible.
