My first child I weighed one kilo less the week after I had her than I did before I fell pregnant.

My weight gain was good during pregnancy, 11 kilos, but I lost it all in the first week after giving birth (roughly five kilos of it was baby, placenta and fluid). Breastfeeding helped me to lose it so quickly I think, plus the fact that I couldn't sit still, I was so full of energy.

My sister in law lost weight DURING her pregnancy...she was overweight when she fell pregnant, and had severe morning sickness for the whole nine months. After she had her baby, her weight was normal for her height rather than overweight. Baby was very healthy though.

I wish!! lol. No, honestly, just make sure that her health is okay. If you are concerned about her weight, get her to a doctor and make sure everything is alright. You need to cut back on the cravings..the baby is here ;)

if she is nursing that is very possible, u lose like 500 calories every time you nurse. I had a baby in march and I've lost 40lbs. She will be fine, it usually gets to be about normal once the little one starts to eat some solids.

my ex husband gained 30 pds during our first pregnancy... he lost it before i lost my weight.. some women lose weight faster.. excpecally if she is breastfeeding... and some are lucky, i call them elastic woman.. the stretch out during pregnancy and stretch right back after.. she is lucky.. don't worry... you will lose it.. use the stroller and walk with the baby.. they love that.. evening strolls,, and in no time you will be so busy running after the baby you will see the pds drop off.. congs. on your new bundle of joy... your very blessed!!

Lucky her!! My dad gained all the weight when my mother was pregnant with me. He also had the sickness.

I love how the two of you are connected! It's cute!
Congrats on the baby!

The delivery of the baby has caused her to loose water weight and fluid.
