The hardest job a central processor (CPU) does is to reproduce graphics. It is quite normal for a computer to get pretty warm when playing some of todays games. If the problem get out of hand you may need to install a better cooling fan on the CPU. Also be sure that all of the fans and heat sinks are good and clean. You may also need more or better case fans to get some of the heat out of your computer case.

Gaming really works your computers hardware so it generates a lot of heat. You can do several things to fix this, like installing more fans in your case, installing a better cpu fan/heatsink assembly. You can get all this stuff at:

Case fans are very easy to install and make a huge difference by removing heat from the case. The cpu fan/heatsink assembly is a little more work but worth the effort in heat reduction.

Reducing the heat in your computers case will ultimately extend it's lifespan, so it's money well spent.

Did you overclock it? Eigher the processor or Video card? Open it up and see if the processor fan has stopped working.
