yeah i know it is terrble and it seems to be gettin worse day after day and i believe that the people seem to imitate things they see on t.v. i mean just look at scott peterson and mark hackett what did they solve nothing but the whole world yanked out from under then and they got their 15 mins of fame these people i do not say this in the nicest way need to be treated like their victims they should be killed just as their loved ones were and then they will or could have understood there were other ways out but the news media makes it worse by keep pushing it on the news but it is common knowledge that people learn by example so i have not been able tofind out what the world is coming to it is sad and i can't believe people feel the need to take a life to gain a min of fame

Unfortunately, I did read that story. It's just about the only kind of news you read these days. I have to say though, I disagree with your statement that "this world is evil". It's true, there are a lot of evil actions being committed out there. But I have seen myself that there are a lot of good actions also being done. Sadly, you don't see those on television or read them in the newspaper, only rarely. You have to look for the good because it's not splattered all over the media like the bad is all the time. The bad is getting worse but it's important to remember that the good is also getting better. It's kind of the nature of good actions that they go unnoticed and unpublicized. Keep your eyes open and you'll see them. You get what you give--if you treat others with love and kindness you will get that in return

The world is no more evil then it's ever been. It is just that now there's news agencies that can feed you bad news for any little corner of shillybrook North Dakota....until it gets boring and then they find somewhere else in the world to focus on.
It's not like the worlds any worse, we're just more aware of how bad it is.
Statistically the crime rate is dropping, however the televised murder reports is something like 600% higher than it was 15 years ago.

Dew,
Settle down. Check your bible. Check your history. Since the beginning people have been doing horrible things to each other.
The only difference between then and now is that NOW we have the media sharing the information with everyone... Back then it just stayed in the local community.
The world isn't Evil. A few people do evil things..
Try choosing a different attitude...

Your right, bunch of weirdo freaks, same thing happened here on the Oregon coast about a year ago, guy named Longo killed his wife and three kids and skipped to Mexico to party while his children were floating in the bay, or in a dumpster.

If you can name a five year span in the history of mankind that a man didn't kill his family I will write you a check for $1,000. Nothing has changed. The only difference is your alive now, and the story is fresh in your mind.

You are watching too much negative news. Most people are morally good. Newscasts dwell on the negative. They seldom tell about people who have been married for 50 years, or about the kids who have excelled in school, or about those who do things for the underpriveleged, or those who helpeed people who have suffered in natural catastrophes. Turn off the freaking TV, get off your butt, and get into the real world of caring, loving people.

Makes it even more awful when someone is killed by somebody who they trust and who should be protecting them.

The world is what we make it. There needs to be stricter laws and harsher punishments. You can't be afraid of using the death penalty.
