I have been told that angry sex is some of the best sex there is. Both people want and have that desire to feel good after feeling bad about a fight. They are having sex for no one else but themselves, this in turn gives the other more pleasure. There are not winners when couples fight. Girls want to work through the details and when guys don't want too they feel like they have lost, but really both have lost. Anytime there is a conflict, the conflict needs to be resolved.

I realize I am not a girl, and the question was asked for girls, but wanted to share what a therapist once told me.

Yes, if lost the fight. Sounds like the sex wasn't so hot either. Probably you both lost. Sex is not the best form of communication to settle an argument. It just hides the problem for a while.

In some cases, yes. What you also feel is emptiness. You and your mate have not solved any problems you may have you just had sex to make each other shut up about the situation. If you think about it what ever problems you two are having still exsist, you're jus not talkin about them.

When you can make up without sex then you will be able to get to know each other better.

No not all. For me sex after a fight is a way to kinda say lets just drop it...nobody really wins its neutral. And sex is just showing that your both over it and forgive each other for what may have been said.

my husband and I do not use sex as a method to make up after a fight...we tried it once and it just felt strange to us. We make sure that all hurt feelings are resolved before we make love. And fighting shouldn't be about winning or losing, it should be about getting each other to understand whether you are coming from and to compromise.

usually when I fight with my boyfriend, we take some time and cool down and than talk it out.....if sex happens afterwards than it is to me another way of showing our love for one another. But to fight and than have sex without even talking it out......in my opionion you just are using it as diversion not to talk about what ever the fight was about.

No one should be using sex just to make up after a fight. If one is using sex to make up after a fight, she is trying to fool herself as to nothing ever happened.
