The 1935 Lincoln Wheat Cent(referring to the wheat ears design on the reverse) is valued at $0.40 to $0.45 if there's a D under the date or nothing under in condition average circulated. If it has an S under the date then it's valued at $1.50 the same grade. These are book values, and in reality common date 1930s Lincolns like the 1935 are being sold for as little as 10 cents each in average circulated conditions.

1935 Penny

It also depends on the condition and the mint mark
(located under the date: None= Philadelphia,
S = San Francisco, D= Denver).
If the coin is in mint state it might be worth
a premium, but 1935 pennies are quite
plentiful, so an average circulated coin probably
won' t be worth much.
Your best bet is to take it to a coin dealer
for an appraisal. You can also get the
latest copy of COIN PRICES. It shows
you how to grade your coin and also gives
its value.

No pennies from the US have been found to be made of steel in 1935 - the only year they were was 1943. if you truly have one made of something other than copper it is very valuable, but the odds are very much against that being the case. Tell me more about the coin.

It is technically worth 1 cent, just like any other penny. Your best bet is to find a collector who wants it badly enough to pay for it, but it's still not going to be worth too much. They really aren't that rare.

if the coin were in very good shape and had a red color it could be worh $30-$50 or more in the higher grades, if it is graded by pcgs or ngc.

try to find a 1909 S vdb penny and then you are talking value even if it is in poor shape.

check the pcgs coin price guide
