I'm thinking of buying some swimming pool fins (not the scuba type, the ones designed for swimming training) I can't find much info on the benefits of using them though. I'm assuming they give more of a leg workout, which is what I'm after. Any info or links is much appreciated.

Buy the Fins! Get Zoomers. Fins help you feel how your supposed to be in the water. like how the water has resistance against you.

Fins improve speed, turn over rate, body position, flexion in the ankle and foot and improve overall leg strength. For a more in-depth idea of the benefits of swimming with fins, check out the article below:

the fins will let you glide through thw water faster and will give you a leg workout. you should also try putting leg weights on(that are made for the water) and you can also walk with then out of the water and they will give you a really good leg workout.
