How do I remove suzuki gas tank gs 750 katana?

Will it leak when I disconnect the lines from the carb If there is gas in the tank?

Turn the petcock lever sideways (off position).
No fuel should leak unless the petcock is bad.
Remove the fuel line from the petcock.

If you don't know how to do it - you probably shouldn't attempt it.
