You would think that at a judge the guy would have known better. But I guess not. Just goes to show you that stupid people can get to high positions in life.
the thing that gets me about it is that the cleaners offered to replace the pants several times, and even offered a few thousand dollars. For a pair of pants!

By his logic, we should be able to sue our washer and dryer manufacturers for all those missing socks and personal anguish! Or perhaps we should turn to all those evil businesses for claiming "service with a smile" If they don't smile should we be compensated a ridiculous amount of money? I agree with the judge that made the ruling, "he should seek mental help!" Was it really worth looking like such an idiot? Now he's paying for it...I honestly don't think I would sue over anything, life happens and to try to place blame on anyone but ourselves is contributing to a viscous cycle of self centered ignorance. That's just my take :)

OK, I have two thoughts about the JUDGE who filed this suite...
A: He was trying to display just how out of wack the judicial system is when it comes to filing frivolous lawsuits....
or
B: He is mentally ill and should be admitted to a psychiatric facility immediately.
I am honestly not joking.

The judge should get a pat on the back for not caving in to this lawyers ridiculous law suit. Now if they will only make him pay for the dry cleaners lawyer it may send a message to others trying this too.

The judge ruled in favor of the dry cleaner and ordered the person who sued to pay his court cost. The dry cleaners attorney will also file a claim for the $10,000 legals cost to be paid by the idiot who sued to pay.
Justice does prevail.

The guy bringing the Lawsuit is a nut case. He has done this before. The case will be dismissed, but he needs his day in court.
