Please....white people in the modern era have no connection to slavery. Slavery is only promoted by preachers and those folks that seem to want to live vicariously through the bad habits of past societies.
The reason that some folks ( white and other ) seem to "act black" is that the media has promoted black culture as "cool" in the modern era ( and hey...it may be, dependent upon ones' tastes ). Black folks garner a lot of publicity as equality slowly takes hold..and that makes some people of other races want to get in on the "progressive attitude" of that genre. Unfortunately, equality is moving way too slowly..and many people ( like yourself ) seem to be looking at other races as "taking advantage".

I don't think so I think that we havent had black slavery for many many years so our geneneration shouldn't feel guilty. I don't, I didn't make anybody be my slave. It's funny because women were treated as less important than slaves is that why there is gay men? Do you think they just feel guilty for the women who were used as punching bags that breed? I think that our culture has found a way to embrace their culture. Mimickery is the highest form of flattery. I think it's time to move out of the past into the present and appreciate our freedoms that our ancestors worked so hard to create.

No, most white people who try to act black aren't aware enough of guilt as a concept to be concerned about it, consciously or subconsciously.

Maybe some are but not all, there will be those who actually relate so well with black people that they do not even realize that they act black.

No I don't believe so, they just want to look cool. You have to realize that most people today were never related to those who owned slaves, and do not feel any responsibility for it.

I doubt that, I believe they see images of rappers etc. and they're influenced to be that way. That's just what they like, and how they want to act... rap is popular these days idk
