It's just that when we in Alicante Marina a few weeks ago we saw a strange fish and wondered if he had arrived there on holiday!

For anyone who isn't sure Alicante is in Southern Spain. It was particularly warm for the time of year. The locals said unnaturally so. Not knowing much about fish perhaps they migrate like birds do?

Fish Migrate we all know that like salmon and eels, however since we all think its a bit of a joke, the answer he's looking for is that several Sun Fish have been seen off the coast of Europe over the past few months while they're not strangers to Europe its unusual to see such a large fish close in. They're getting caught by warm water streams that are changing direction slightly caused by "Global warming" there's several places now along the southern coast of the U.K. where anglers are catching fish that are more widely seen in the Caribbean.

Some do migrate and change locations throughout the year. Southern Spain sounds like a place I would like to migrate through from time to time if I had a chance :)

All fish migrate and move around for various reasons such as food supplies or to breed.

Yes they do go on a holiday, when the owner goes for one and takes the fish along :-) My cousin's 7 year old goldy has seen most of the countries around the world with him :-D

Sure they go on holiday, Same time that cats and dogs do, and when all the dead come up from the graves around the world, and do the calypso dance.
