I think he is very possessive about you and he doesn’t want anybody to get your attention. I’m not saying that he is right but I can understand his point as you are a dazzling sexy girl- I would say you are the main reason for global warming as you are so HOT.

It's his way of controlling you and making sure you won't have anybody to run to in case of a dispute. Let me remind you that your husband isn't the one to decide if you're gonna have friends or not.....you go ahead and make friends, we all need friends. Women need to share and exchange it's in our nature. If he has a problem with that tell him to deal with it like a grown man and to not bother you with his ego problem.

I happen, because you accept his stupid rules....
He can’t forbid you anything. It’s your own fault if you don’t stand up and fight for your rights...
I suppose that your husband is a guy, who doesn’t have much self-confidence and maybe he thinks that he is great macho.
Tell him, that you won’t permit anymore that he limits your life and if he goes on acting that way, you would simply leave him as living a life like that is just like being already dead...

It's a form of manipulation adn control. He wants to be in total control and friends will put ideas in your head and then you'll want to leave him. Been there, done that!

Because he is insecure. Work with him, offering reassurances, and eventually he will become more secure. But it is going to take time, depending upon the severity of his insecurity. Only you can decide whether he is worth the effort. . . .

What are you, his property? Are you not your own person, or did you sign those rights away when you got married? It's your fault; you allow yourself to be in a controlling marriage.

He won't let you have any friends because he is controlling and he won't let you have any friends because you give him the power to not let you do what you want.
