I found naked pics of my boyfriends ex in his room hidden in a box where he was keeping some of my personal stuff too..I confronted him about it and he said he never cared for those pics so he never paid attention to them.He said he was sorry...I forgave him & we burnt them together yesterday...Im just so shocked & sad..Ive been with him for over a year I never ever thought that I would see something like that from him...He was pale when I told him what I found when I unlocked his box.& he said wait I can explain...I was leaving his place & he stopped me...so that we can talk...But he doesnt want to see me sad but how can I be happy? He gets an attitude if I get sad...what should I do?

he burned them, that shows his willingness to make the relationship work and do whatever it takes for you to be happy and not insecure about anything in the relationship, alot of people keep old photos because it holds a meaning or is a symbolism of their past it has nothing to do with the future or the relationship that is current, dont let this affect your future with him, he really loves you and wants to make things work with you thats why the pictures are now gone...

You should tell him that it still bothers you and ask him why he has kept them for so long considering that he "didn't" care for the pics as he has said. He should be understanding, and if he cannot I would consider holding off on getting married. That's sad to say, but what will be even more sad is if you marry this guy and he ends up cheating on you, or keeping other things from you...... It has happened to me....and I had a kid with the guy....now I'm stuck having to pay for a divorce...cuz he's a creep....

He burned them...be satisfied. You are not the only person he has been with, but he's with you now and that's what matters. Obviously he cares for you, or he would have scolded you for going through his personal stuff anyway. Stop dwelling on it.

I think you are making a big deal out of it. People hang on to their pasts because it's part of who they are. Your past is also part of you.
