Can stopping birth control cause you to ovulate very early in your cycle? Or maybe this is a better question.... How early in your cycle can you ovulate?

The reason I ask is... I stopped BC at the end of last cycle.. Started my period on June 7.. Due to start my period again next week around the 4th.. but saturday I had spotting.. Lasted a little over a day.. nothing much at all. I was wondering if I could have ovulated early and that was implantation bleeding?

It took my 3 months after stopping BC to get a somewhat normal period. Every month I thought about implantation bleeding, however yours very well could be. Mine varied each month as far as how much and how long it lasted. Highly recommend ovulation monitor. Takes the guessing out of it. Good Luck!
