I got my maternity clothes from a few different places. Motherhood Maternity (which are usually in malls) has cute clothes but they can get a little bit expensive. Target also has some really cute clothes by Liz Lange and they aren't that expensive at all. I also got a few things from Sears and JCPenny. Oh, now Old Navy also has maternity clothes that are really cute and not too expensive either. I remember when I was pregnant I wanted the Old Navy in my mall to have them but they didn't get any until after I had my daughter (go figure).
Congrats!

Motherhood Maternity is great. Be sure though if you buy cute shirts get 1 size bigger (if you normally wear small, get a medium etc), and make sure it has strings you can tie. This way it should last you through most of your pregnancy. My first one I started out small, and ended up in Large mat. clothes, so buying a bigger size now just means more wear later, but don't go crazy and buy too big now. Also, if it has the strings you can wear it while you go back to your regular size again after the birth.
FYI, I once bought a lot of maternity clothes on Ebay (first time, didn't know any better), I do NOT recommend this. You need to go and try them on to make sure it is going to fit you right, every woman is shaped differently.

Most of my stuff has come from Goodwill, a resale shop (there's a shop in my mother's town that sells baby and children and maternity items), and a rummage sale. When I visited my parents in May, my mother bought me some maternity clothes for my birthday present. She knows I shop well anyway, but she also understands that while we're not "poor", I don't really have much money for the extra clothes. My kahaki shorts were around $5 at the resale shop and we found a white blouse for a dollar there as well. (I'm not sure about the shorts, but the blouse originated from Motherhood.) The blouse is still a bit big, but fits better than my non-maternity white fitted blouse.
At Goodwill, we found another shirt for no more than $5, that one is a little small.
That evening at Kohl's we found a pair of jeans that not only looked good but were almost too long. A rarity for my six foot tall body. We also found a maternity shirt that I think is a bit too low cut, so I try to not wear it to church things as I've not taken the time to play with pinning it. Both items were on sale for 40% off and my mom had a card for an extra 20% off entire purchase that she got in the mail. So, essentially, they were both 50% off. I dont' even remember the original prices. If my mom wasn't going to worry, I wasn't either and she tried talking me into another pair of jeans for cutoffs. (I had a is this MY mother? moment as she was always concerned about prices when I was a kid, which in turn, raised me well.) I thought that paying more than ten or fifteen dollars for a pair of jeans for cutoffs was a bit wasteful, and turned her down.
The clothing from Khol's is actually from Motherhood. I don't remember what the label says for the name, but under it is says, "By Motherhood" or something like that. Both of my shirts (the one from the resale shop and the one from Kohl's) are big. The one from Kohl's is actually a medium and pre-pregnancy (even now) I was (am) a large. The shirt from Khol's does have the tie which is nice.
Last Friday I took the time to go to rummage sales and found a pair of khaki maternity pants for $1. I'm not sure the size, I think the tag says L, but they're big. That's okay. Im not done growing yet. I like them because they have the strechy panel under the pockets that just look like a different type of fabric. I don't care if people know I wear materntiy clothes, but without the panel, I can better wear my regular shirts with them. (I'm in the beginning of my six month and just my lower belly is really rounding out now.)
Anyway, I hope this helps. I don't feel as though I need too much as I still have some stretchy skirts that fit as well as my jammy pants. Although I could use another pair of shorts so these don't wear out. I'm a housewife, so my clothing needs are simple-- Just kahakis or jeans or khaki or denim shorts and some nice Tshirts, golf shirts and blouses.
I hope this helps.
PS: Some of the non maternity styles with the tightness around the ches and loos around the tummy might work if the shirt is long enough. I tired on a long, tight tank top at Wal-Mart (one of the very few times I go there) and liked it, but I thought it showed way too much cleavage. Yet, I found a dress at Meijer Saturday that I thought would work and even work after the baby. However, I did not have the time to try it on.

I liked maternity clothes from the gap and old navy. The clothing from the gap isn't too cheap, but it holds up a lot better than the clothes from Mimi Maternity and Motherhood Maternity. Kohls also has some cute stuff that isn't super expensive.

I had a hard time. I am small and have a hard time finding regular clothes that fit. But these are a few places to check out and I think they're worth it.
Gap, Old Navy, Target, Kohls, MiMi Maternity and eBay...I bought jeans off eBay and I loved them and wore them everyday...they were designer, too! I HATED Motherhood the clothes were SWIMMING on me even in my 9th month.

I shopped at Target and Kmart for my maternity clothes. You can try Motherhood Maternity, maybe they will have some stuff on sale. Otherwise, I think they are too expensive. Try some secondhand stores, they might have some there too. Congrats.

I went to Motherhood Materinity for my work clothes and Old Navy and Target for play clothes...
I had ended up buying a few pants and more shirts to alternate with..
Be careful to not buy a lot of clothes that fit you now, because they may not fit you when you are 8 months pregnant!
Good luck!

You can get really good maternity clothes on eBay from sellers at a great price! I did this with my last pregnancy (my son is 13 weeks now). I was able to get great brands that I normally couldn't afford on my own...Mimi Maternity, Pea in a Pod, etc...I bought them gently used and they were perfect.
Good luck!

I really like motherhood. Lucky for me, I have an outlet mall that is about a hour away from me, and it has a Motherhood out let store in it. It is great, you can get really nice stuff cheap. You can also go online to their website and they have a clearence section.
