If you mean the first dynasty of Roman Emperors, it is usually known as the Julio-Claudian dynasty.

The correct order of emperors was Augustus, Tiberius, Caligula, Claudius (who was not a fool) and Nero (who didn't start the fire and was instumental in helping to put it out).

Caesar Augustus was one of the great leaders of Rome. Unfortunately, he was not so lucky with his offspring. He named Nero as his heir, one of the most evil of all emperors. He was accused of setting fire to Rome, especially when he used a great deal of the area which was burned to create a massive pleasure palace for himself. Instead, he blamed the Christians for it, beginning the mass persecution of Christians. He was killed by his bodyguards, along with many members of his family. Nero believed himself to be a great musician, and when he was stabbed, he cried out, "What a great artist the world is losing!"

Nero's uncle, Claudius, was found cringing in a corner of the palace when the guards came to kill Nero and family. Since he was considered dim-witted, they allowed him to live. By some fluke, Claudius actually became emporer. Unfortunately, his wife convinced him to name her son by a prior marriage as his heir. As soon as he did, she murdered Claudius, and her son, Caligula, became emporer.

Caligula was truly evil, possibly even more so than Nero. He resented the fact that his mother helped him gain the throne, especially since she was also trying to control him. He had her poisoned. He also had his sister banished. He was eventually murdered as well. And you thought your family was bad!
