This might be a dumb question but my extended family is all going to a waterpark today. I'm 12 weeks pregnant so I dont really look or feel pregnant yet, and wondering if anyone else has gone to a waterpark while pregnant? I'm not planning on going on the steep slides, but probably the lazy river, wave pool, maybe the inner tube slides (tend to be slower). Is this a terrible idea? Anyone else been to a waterpark while pregnant? I don't want to hurt the baby, but sometimes I tend to be overcautious, and I want to have fun with my family!

Have fun at the waterpark, I never went when I was pregnant because I have terrible stretch marks and all. I think I'm just self concious. But I wouldn't try the wave pool. Lazy river seems fine. Wave pool can make you feel like you're on a boat with waves and it's not too good for you while you are pregnant. Better to be safe than sorry

I went to the water park too, almost all the rides say 'no pregnant females' but my friend urged me to go, i was 7 months pregnant! And that ride, man i swear i felt my stomach go every where it was a very scary feeling!!
Go and have fun just dont go on the rides you wouldn't want nothing bad happen. I stayed in the lazt river too.

I would go along and just wade in the water (if they have a regular pool), if at all, but not go on slides or wave pools or inner tube slides. Too risky. You don't want to hit by someone either.

you cant go on any rides its well posted all over the park. for your babies sake stick to the lazy river a basic swimming pool. the wave pool might to hard on you too since some waves have a lot of force behind them . play it safe

I love my season tickets to the water park near me... its a life saver when pregnant!
I would avoid the major rides though, even the intertube ones... the dropping/jostling might be a little much... you dont want anything to happen!
but god bless the lazy river!!

Water slides won't hurt the baby what so ever. As long as you don't jump on your belly, everything is fine. People play sports even when they're pregnant. So enjoy yourself and be careful.
good luck
