Yes, it is called blossom/bottom end rot. Most of this is caused by a lack of calcium. You can treat it with Gypsum from a garden store. Erratic watering will also contribute to this.

It is blossom end rot and there is a quick cure. Go to a nursery and find a spray bottle that has a calcium compound in it and spray it on the plant, all over. Also add a little lime to the soil, quick acting lime.

Blossom end rot is what it is called. It is caused by improper moisture. The soil is alternating from too dry to too wet. Maintain uniform soil moisture as the fruit nears maturity. Remove affected fruit.

Yes that is end rot. Make sure you are watering them the same amount all the time. When they get too much then too little water it messes with the plant.
