With me I let my kids go to sleep with a plain bottle of water, seeing as juice and milk will rot their teeth. As soon as they were asleep I would take away the bottle. The main mistake is that parents just let their kids leave the bottle in their mouth all night.

he's okay until he's 1 year old for using a bottle. Put water only in the bottle though at bedtime

He can have a bottle as long as he drinks it and then is done and doesn't let the milk sit on his teeth.
Try a bottle followed by a pacifier for sleep.

Good luck

try a pacifier or feed him then put him to bed with a full tummy so theres no need for a bottle in bed

A pacifier will help. I only gave one at bedtime and it seemed to do the trick.
