This is by far the most ridiculous lawsuit I have heard of in forever.

How did this case ever make it to trial?

Welcome to the American judicial system.

Some say it is another indicator that America is flushing herself down the toilet.

And a judge bringing that suit...shame!

I could see a lawyer, but not a judge!

Yes, and I was pleased as all everything when the judge tossed it out on it's ear! To add insult to injury, the lawyer who filed such a ridiculous suit had to pay for the defendants legal fees. Kudos to the judges who still have a shred of common sense!

I heard about that on the radio, people are so screwed up and sue happy it is unbelievable. If this happened to the guy before why did he bother going back and doing business there? I f anything I blame it on the customer for going back after he knew they didn't come through the first time.
$54 million are you on crack or something? Of course it's a lawyer.

It was really a terrible disgrace that he did that. I strongly suspect he is mentally ill and is likely to be a danger to others. I hope the Chungs get their legal expenses reimbursed. This was a devastating thing for them.

"Bartnoff ordered Pearson to pay clerical court costs of about $1,000 to defendants Soo Chung, Jin Nam Chung and Ki Y. Chung. A motion to recover the Chungs' tens of thousands of dollars in attorney fees will be considered later."

You can file a law suit for anything. I bet a judge was interested in the case, being it was ANOTHER JUDGE.

If it makes you feel better, they rejected him and may him pay $1000 in clerical fees for wasting their time.

The reason is because the guy is a judge!
