I have a bachelors in business, and an A+ cert also, what else training do I need to get my foot in the door, and additional certs ?

A good basis for Netowork / Security would be:

Network+
Security+

Get your foot in the door with those. Pursue your CCNA while you work. By the time you have your CCNA you will be exponentially more valuable of an employee due to the certs AND expereince, and even better - you will know much more specifically where you want to go in the IT field, and can cater your further learning around THAT.

Surely you jest, there are literaly hundreds of different certifications when it comes to computer technology.
Many employers will opt for the cost of these certifications.
Your degree in buisness does you no good in the computer science field,
Apple has there's
IBM has there's
Novell has there's
Cisco has there's
and on and on and on

you need to get a security cert with various products, cisco, nortel, etc if you want to do hardware security or you need CISSP.
