My friend wears Crocs shoes I may get a pair are they cool ?

If you love your feet, care for your feet and are not overly fashion conscious then you will love them. They are worn by most of the staff in SA hospitals [ comfy, loads of air on the feet and absolute bliss ]. Why care about what others think, pity them, specially those with huge bunions, stinking feet from being stuck in the same pair of trainers every day, rotten toenails and rot between the toes due to the feet not breathing. They are comfortable, really really comfy, i bought a couple of pairs from the market stalls in SA and wear them loud and proud [ loud] the bright happy go lucky colours. It is supposed to be Summer after-all, no need for boots etc. Enjoy them and may they last forever and ever Amen.:))))

I adore mine,Ive got the flip flop type and they are navy blue so not garish at all,they are the comfiest shoes Ive ever worn,like walking on air,I wouldn't wear them for going out socialising of course.

You don't have to have them shipped from America,they sell them in the UK now.

I just googled "crocs" and found quite a few outlets for them.

I wouldnt say they are "cool". they are a fad going around right now, though. i think they are the most ugly shoes in the world, but i have to admit, that after borrowing a pair from my friend, they are the most COMFORTABLE shoes EVER!!!

also, why should it matter if they are cool or not? If you want to get a pair, get them. its summertime anyway, so no ones going to see you wearing them in your backyard, if thats what youre worried about.

I say get them. you dont have to wear them all the time, but they are nice to have on days where you need something comfy to just throw on that will match your clothes!!!

also, if you want to save money, i know that walmart and many other stores selll shoes that look exactly like crocs, but dont have the crocodile on them for like 8 bucks!!!! why buy something becasue of a crocodile?!?!?

If you have to ask if they're cool, you obviously don't want them to wear for there comfort do you? Have you noticed that most of the answers are from Women? Blokes should not be wearing such things, I mean what next talking about our feelings?
My 8 year old daughter loves hers... and yes she looks cute in them.

crocs shoes are very comfortable and cool i have three pairs black professional for work nursing light blue beach and white i wear them all the time keep feet really cool and comforty and light

they are cool YES!

but they get you blisters EVERY TIME,
2 daughters + crocs = blisters
a friend + crocs = blisters
a 2 year old neighboor + crocs = more blisters
now they need to wear them with socks! and they look horrible...
Crocs are now dumped somewhere in the house and never used.

They are real cool, comfortable and trendy. Just the right footwear if you want a break from slippers or open front sandals. But make sure they are the real ones, too many immitations. Wear the real thing and you will feel the difference. Enjoy

they are the most comfy footwear ever but you must only buy the real things fakes are everywhere .look for the little croc logo on the side and the name will be on the strap then you will get originals

Crocs are really not that cool.BUT i do reccomend the flip flops.They're great! i love my pair and where them everywhere.their stylish and they feel like crocs.regulr Crocs are really meant for grrks or working in a hospital.but try the flip flops youll love them =]

Like most things people think they are cool because suddenly everyone is wareing them. If others didn't ware them I could guarantee most people wouldn't . I personally hate them but then my mom went and got herself a pair and now I don't hate them just cos me mom has some and I love me mom shes sound. So to sum up - I don't know.
