I am on your side of this. I think there is a such thing as to much and 25,000 is way to much. But I can also see the other side of this to. I only agree with the "my child lives your lifestyle or better" when the father has kids that actually lives with him like Brian Urlacher. I think all the kids should be raised equal and they should all live the same lifestyle. But I hate that women use their kids like that but you have to fault the guys. They put themselves in that situation.
*Edit*
50 Cent does take care of his son. Almost everytime I see 50 cent he has his son. So, she might be doing the day to day but its not like she is raising him completely by herself. She is just doing her motherly duties. Which she would still have to do if he was broke.

I guess one way to look at it is imagine what kind of life the kid would have if 50 cent raised the son? Would 50 cent be spending $25,000 a month on the kid? Imagine where his son would be living and everything that he would have access to. I can easily see more than $25,000 a month going towards that kid's life. Now, why punish the son because 50 cent is not raising him?
What some people might try to say is that there should be a single child support rate for all people. However, that is impossible. A child from a couple who made $20,000 a year will require less money than a child from a couple who made $20,000,000 a year. The lifestyle difference would mean a difference in the amount of child support. There is a large difference between these two examples. A single rate will not work for both of them.
All that being said, I think that there needs to be definate accounting in child support to make sure that all of the money being spent is going to benefit the child somehow. I have heard of people using child support money to go on vacation while the kid is visiting the father. There is absolutely no gain for the child in a case like that.

The laws of the land say that the child has a right to live the lifestyle that they were used to (as well as the parent of the child).
Now, more than likely, she will get the increase because he makes so much money.
Fair or not, this is the way the law works.
I agree that $25,000.00 dollars per month is alot of money, however; it's still just a minor dent in what he makes and he won't be hurting should if have to pay more.
If you're asking me if the mother is just going after him out of spite, I say it's true. However, it doesn't matter what I think or feel in this case, they (the courts) more than likely will decide in favor of her and award her additional money.

Wow, we're raising a family of 4 on that amount per year. However, we have the benefit of many blessings that God gives us. With that said, child support is based on income. The non-custodial parent has to pay a percentage of there income. That's all there is to it. If the break up had not happened, the child would receive benefits from the parents income. Why should that change just because they don't share a home?

$25,000 is a lot of money, especially if you multiply it by the 12 months of the year. I do not believe she needs any more money in the slightest. Usually its the parents that spend up all the money on themselves, and not for the kids. She is completely using her child as a visa platinum card.

I think its a bit much and it should be administered better, but in the end its for the child.
If it improves the child's life measurably with your increased lifestyle you should pay more.
Curtis brought the child into the world, he should be forced to care for it.
25K a month is a small pittance for the hours it takes to raise the child and nurture the child as well as empathize wiht the child.
He pays to stay away, that costs money.

Regarding Fiddy, no woman could really fall in love with that ugly mindless bore. No doubt she got knocked up to extract the money from him. I am sure the day she walked into the lawyer's office they knew they hit the jackpot.

I think that is way, way too much. My dad owed me 32,000 from 8 years. 25 grand a month is just stupid...but odds are the kid isnt seeing any of the money...

By law she gets 20% of his net income . If that's what it is .
She should be thankful, and not ask for more.
GOD BLESS
