Never wax a floor with Bees Wax. It will get gunk and residue all over it. Bees Wax is used on furniture to protect the finish but furniture doesn't have dirty shoes walking all over it and driving that dirt in with the weight of a person behind it. Wax collects dirt and grime.... even if a very thin coat of it is applied. Waxes by the way are applied by heating the wax in a pot on the stove and then applying them to the wooden surface.... by cloth, brush or whatever. Just gently clean the floor on occasion. If the floor is really worn-out, refinish it. Don't apply wax. Polishes are bad too for the same reason. Plus, polish will make the floor slippery and someone will fall and break their neck.

You don't wax a floor with "Bees wax" someone is pulling your leg, like getting a board stretcher, a post hole, etc.
