Such a divorce is possible if you obtain it either under the provision of the Act under which you got married in India or if both of you mutually agree to get it under the local common divorce law applicable to foreign immigrants in UK, then such foreign decree of divorce will be valid in India, any other foreign decree obtained other then these two manner will not be valid in India under the Civil Procedure Code.

Try to reconcile. if you have kids. for the sake of kids.
please arrange a meeting of relatives of girl side and relatives of boy side and try to reconcile. because divorce is not see as good even by God.
if you want to know getting divorce in UK is as per UK law. India law. Hindu religious law will not follow.

You need to contact our Indian Embassy and give them the marriage certificate and inform them that you both want to get divorced. They will tell you the procedure.
