Drunk man's words, sober man's thoughts. Alcohol gives many people more confidence to speak the truth about feelings without fear of being rejected. Liquid courage, I guess. But just remember......alcohol does make a lot of people feel like they "love" everyone in sight. Hints the Bud Light commercials that have guys telling eachother "I love you, Man!"....

"In vino, veritas" - I think it's possible, since inhibitions are lessened when drinking. However, I wouldn't take anything as gospel -- could just be the rantings and ravings of an addled brain...

yes! Many people who are intoxicated say things that they would only think when they are sober. They say what they really feel because they do not have the inhibitions they have when sober!
