I beg to differ with you!
Boring is a condition characterized by perception of one's environment as dull, tedious, and lacking in stimulation.
Boredom can be a symptom of clinical depression.
Boredom is often associated with adolescence, especially in suburbs, small towns, and other isolated areas. A typical teenager's complaint is that there is "nothing to do." This statement can have a number of economic and social causes. Others disagree, arguing that few environments are inherently boring, and that boredom reflects a lack of imagination, initiative and creativity.
It would be PEOPLE that were boring not these states.
There are wonderful places in each and every one on your list of boring places. It is obvious to me that you have never truly experienced what they have to offer.
I have been to each state on your list and I have always found something wonderful and fun to do. Some of the best cities in the country are in states on your list. Yes even Oklahoma is wonderful!
You truly need to do them again, this time with someone that knows where to go and how to have fun. I am just amazed at your listing.
I guess I am blessed in the fact that I find something wonderful about travel to other places.
Boring is a term I use for people not places.

I have been though every state in the US except North Dakota and Georgia. The only states I found to be boring were flat with no scenery. Iowa, Nebraska, Kansas, Minnesota, and most of Texas and Oklahoma.

Yes, I was born in Oklahoma but now I live in Arkansas.
I believe the two are in a heated battle of Who Is the Most Boring State.

i've lived in oklahoma my entire life. i've been to: nebraska and iowa. oklahoma isn't that bad, but places like nebraska and iowa are closer to more interesting places than OK. that in itself makes them better than here.
