how do you tell legitimate poetry sites from scams?

I suppose if they promise big prizes. How can they afford them if they don't get money from the vanity players who are suckered into buying the books? By the way, I have never seen any books by poetry.com in a library.

I think all poetry is legitimate. The only difference is how we react to their appeal.
