You can start now weaning her over to whole milk. I started the weaning process at about 11 months with all 3 of my kids. If she regularly gets an 8 ounce bottle of formula/breast milk then put 2 ounces of milk in it and the other 6 ounces do the regular formula/breast milk. After a week of this increase by 2 ounces. 4 to 4. After another week 6 to 4 the last week you will be on milk completely and you should be able to wean off the bottle as well. You need to do the weaning process slowly so that you can watch for any adverse reactions. It is normal for their stools to change slightly as the switch is being made. If you switch too quickly though you could cause tummy upset. This method worked great with my 3 and they were all on soy-based formula due to a lactose intolerance at birth. Slow as you go and all should be fine.

We started mixing regular whole milk with the formula at around 10 months, gradually increasing the amount of milk. Somewhere between 11 months and 1 year they were completely switched to milk.
Side note: that's about the same time we stopped the bottle and switched to sippy cups, and that worked well also.

You can start your child on whole milk whenever you want. Children under 2 need the extra fat from whole milk, so that is what you need to serve. Also with going off of formula just make sure she is in the sun 10 minutes a day for Vitamin D. I have had children as early as 7 months old on whole milk.

I started weaning my daughter from formula to cow's milk at 11 months.
I did a 75/25 mix formula to milk to start for about a week - just to her use to the taste.
Then went to 50/50, the 25/75 then all milk. By one year she was 100% on whole cow's milk.
I also used organic milk.
The reason I did the mixture is a lot of kids don't like the taste of milk verses formula or breast milk.
Hope this helps - good luck.

This isn't too early, 11 months is just right, this way she has a whole month to get used to regular milk. Try the vitamin D milk first(this is what they are supposed to drink). If she doesn't like it, try 2% or 1% and slowly work your way back up to vitamin D.

I started giving my daughter regular whole milk at age 1. She didn't like it at first so I used to warm it and add some Nesquik to it. Then after a while she started drinking it plain and has continued ever since.Of course I still give her Nesquik at times cuz she loves it , but she fine with regular milk.

i started my daughter who is four now on whole milk when she was 10 and half months old. She lost interest in formula and I wanted her to get what she needed so i started early. I have also heard of parents doing half milk and half formula. You might want to try that first,

My mom gave us all Whole milk by 8-10 months. My younger brother was allergic to it at first, the doctor told her to nix it for a few more months. So she did. By 2 years he was fine with milk, has been since.
